Zojirushi Gourmet Vacuum Insulated Cooking Pot

Zojirushi SNAE-B45 4.77 Quart Stainless Thermal Cooking Pot. Zojirushi is a premier brand in Asia and is known for it's high quality products. This item is no longer manufactured by them, but the list price was $299.00. This is a new item that we have in stock and never sold. We have several thermal pots ourselves and do not need another, so we are putting this one on sale at a discount price. 

It is a rather unique item, so I will describe how it works with a simple recipe like chicken (or any) soup.

• Place all the ingredients into the inner pot, make sure the liquid is high enough to cover everything.
• Cook on your stovetop or burner and boil for 5 minutes.
• Remove from the stovetop and place the inner pot into the insulated outer pot.
• Close lid and let it rest for 2.5 hours to finish cooking.

Cooking for a short time and then letting it "slow cook" for the remainder within the outer pot saves gas or electricity.

The instructions state that insulated pot will keep boiling water at over 160F for 6 hours. The capacity is 4.5 liters or 4.77 quarts. It is constructed of high quality stainless steel. We have had our own thermal pots for over 20 years and they still look like new. We have used it for cooking all sorts of meals included a whole chicken (covered with herbal liquid).
