Chinese Abacus (Suan Pan)

Full-size abacus, not the cheap kind sold in novelty stores or souvenir shops. Surprisingly, although storekeepers in rural China often prefer to use their abacus, they are quickly being replaced with modern calculators. We finally located a small company in China that still made them and they agreed to use quality hardwood and manufacture some that even a storekeeper would be proud to own. Traditional Chinese style (5+2 beads) in natural wood measuring 14.5" x 6.25" x 1".
