Qi Journal Digital Subscription: 1 year (starts with next issue)
One year subscription to "Qi: The Journal of Traditional Eastern Health & Fitness" (aka: Qi Journal). The journal is a quarterly publication (4 issues per year), 68 pages plus cover, that deals with the topic of "Qi". Emphasis is on traditional Chinese methods of holistic and preventive healthcare. Each issue includes features, departments, news, and tidbits on Chinese culture and philosophy.
Note: This is an online version of our journal which can be read only with an internet connection. Once purchased, the individual issues are stored in your personal library which you access using your email and access code. The flipbook format duplicates the look of our printed journal and includes the ability to zoom in and out, search for text, and navigate using internal links, bookmarks, and the table of contents. It is copyright protected and cannot be copied or printed. Since it replicates our printed journal, it is best viewed on a desktop computer or tablet with larger screen.
How does the subscription work? With this digital subscription, you will receive the 4 placeholders in your personal library for future journals which will be updated and available to you as each issue is released to the public. We release each digital issue 7 to 10 days after our first bulk mailing to our print subscribers which means digital issues will arrive about the same time as most print copies in most parts of the USA and much sooner than international print subscribers.
How do I get my order?
Within 24 hours after your order is processed, you will receive a separate email with the links you need to access and view your digital purchases. If you do not receive this email, please contact us and let us know so that we can resend them or set up your account manually for you.
Q&A
Can I use this on my smart phone?
Yes, But... Our digital versions are complete replicas of our printed journals with all fonts and pictures embedded, so viewing them on a small screen is not nearly as enjoyable as when using a larger tablet or desktop. You can zoom in to read all the articles, but the columns of type will not "re-wrap" to fit your screen like our web pages.
Do I have to load Adobe Flash?
No. We have converted all our digital issues to HTML5 which has most of the features offered in the discontinued Flash plugins. HTML5 is compatible with all modern browsers including tablets.
My password doesn't work
We often get this question because your digital access code is different from the password that you may have used when registering (or if you registered) at our website to make ordering easier. The large digital journal files are stored on a separate off-site server to speed your viewing performance, so it requires a separate registration. Of course you can always change the access code to match your site registration by using the "forgot?" link on your access form.
My Library page has a "secure" warning
There is no personal information contained within the digital files, so your library page opens in a separate window and is not encrypted, which helps the performance. The form that you fill out to access our library is on our secure servers and fully encrypted (URL starts with HTTPS) using the highest level available.
