Longquan Taiji Broadsword
Combat Steel, 32 blade
Rare Longquan Taiji Broadsword. Unique shape used in the Taiji style. Heavy Combat Steel is not flexible. Scabbard, brocade box. 10 lbs.Legend tells us that the "Longquan" (Dragon Well) sword was first produced about 2600 years ago, when Yezi, a sword master, was commissioned by the lord of Chu to make the finest swords possible. Yezi chose the town of Longquan in which to manufacture the swords because the water in the lakes, wells, and streams was crystal clear and the area was peaceful and auspicious. There are seven streams near the town's Qinxi Mountain, so the Longquan sword is often referred to as the "seven-star" sword. The wooden scabbards and handles are made of "Hua-Li" wood found in this area. These handmade weapons may vary slightly from the illustrations shown. *Extra shipping charges apply, not for export.
