Dragon & Phoenix: 6" unframed
Dragon and Phoenix. When together, these mythical animals represent harmony and togetherness (male/female and yang/yin). This Chinese folk art has a rich history spanning several hundred years. Originally made as New Year's decorations, styles vary depending on geographic regions. Our papercuts come from He Bei, a region known for its intricate and colorful designs. These magnificent pieces are cut by Grand Master DianXin Gao, famous for his "Spring along River Bend" which one of the world's largest paper cuts. Here, he turns his attention to precision detail to create some very special pieces of art for us. 6" dia. papercut.
