The Illusion of Will, Self, and Time: William James's Reluctant Guide to Enlightenment with Jonathan Bricklin. William James is often considered a scientist compromised by his advocacy of mysticism and psychical research, what he termed, the wild beasts of the philosophical desert. But he can also be viewed as the Father of Transpersonal Psychology, compromised by his commitment to common sense. A co-founder and President of the American Society for Psychical Research, James believed that such research had broken down the limits of the admitted order of things. But so had his classic explorations into the psychology of will, self, and time. Nonetheless, he waited til the last year of his life to reveal what his deepest insights and research suggested: consciousness is already there waiting to be uncovered, revealing what stood there always to be known. That James lived his entire life championing a dynamic world, being created moment by moment, is what makes him a most valuable guide to all the evidence that suggests otherwise.

Terence Dunns Flying Phoenix Qigong Flying Phoenix Qigong with Master Terry Dunn is a 3-day immersive workshop that teaches Flying Phoenix Heavenly Healing Chi Meditations (Fei Feng San Gung), a rare and extraordinarily powerful medical Qigong system that was created more than 400 years ago by renowned Taost monk Feng Dao Deh of Ehrmeishan. In this workshop, you will learn this complete Taoist monastic system of hygienics comprised of standing and seated, stationary and moving meditations that imparts a wide range of salient health benefits with remarkable swiftness: increased respiratory power, improved circulation and metabolism, higher energy levels, improved neuro-muscular function and balance, peak immunity, increased bone strength, and the allostatic reversal of many signs of aging. Flying Phoenix Qigong imparts its remarkable health benefits through a yogic mechanism that brings all the organ functions of the body under the regulation of the subconscious mind. This super-regulating process and energy cultivation is brought on by each of the 24 Flying Phoenix Meditations, which consists of (A) an easy-to-do breath-control formula followed by (B) a meditation in repose or a serene moving meditation using repetitive natural movements that are done three times slower than typical Tai Chi practice. The esoteric breathing formula that precedes each Flying Phoenix meditation ignites a specific flow of Qi in the body that is tangible; the following posture and movements circulate the energy through specific orbs of the body. Flying Phoenix Qigong is easier to learn and practice than Tai Chi and its health benefits are tangible, profound, and more immediate. Long term Flying Phoenix practice activates mans latent healing potential and cultivates a superabundance of the distinctively tangible and visible Flying Phoenix Energy (Qi) that has extraordinary healing properties unlike any type of energy generated by any other form of Yoga. Besides providing its splendid health benefits, Flying Phoenix Qigong integrates mind and body so deeply that it develops highest structural sensitivity that imbues the practitioner with deepest levels of jhanic absorption that naturally carries over into any other form or mode of meditation, making it deeper and more comfortable and blissful. The proof of the Flying Phoenix Pudding is this lively worldwide discussion thread now in its eight year, with 4500 postings and 590,000+ views, on which Master Dunn answers all questions on a weekly basis: https://www.thedaobums.com/topic/12639-flying-phoenix-chi-kung/
