Certified Qigong Master through YMAA, Lisa B. OShea, offers Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Live Online Course. Learn how to understand what your body has been telling you and what you can do about it. This Qigong course will consist of several movement forms: Rising Lotus Medical Qigong, Fragrance Qigong, Six Healing Sounds, and two types of meditation. The movements are all slow and gentle to the body and accessible to people of all ages and abilities. Five elements and meridian theory will be covered. No prior experience needed. P1 - Introduction to Medical Qigong (no prerequisite). This first course in our curriculum is a qigong exercise course designed to introduce the student to the basic theories of energy tonification, purgation, and regulation of the body's organs and energy channels, as well as strengthening the body's protective energy field (Wei Qi). Over 20 Medical Qigong exercises will be taught that help the body correct the physical and energetic imbalances. This strengthens and regulates internal organs, the nervous system and immune system, relieves pain, regulates hormones, and strengthens and releases deep-seated emotions and stress.
