2016 Eastover Medical Qi Gong Healing and Eastern Medicine Symposium. Qi Gong is the Art and Science of Living (Qi) / Eastern Medicine is the Art of Healing. One Week, three goals, 12 Masters: Heal our Soul, Listen to our Heart and Body & Connect to the Universe. "Every human beings life is a song of God, a divine dance of Qi unique and perfect. Some songs require a wide range of notes. Others are beautiful in their simplicity. What is necessary for the story to continue to unfold for each human being is before him and within him. Sometimes, all it takes is a slight inner shift or take a deep breath, swallow, relax, and to settle into ones space to know that everything is perfect as it is" - Master Junfeng Li. With this in our heart, we bring you Masters of Wisdom: Roger Jahnke, Mantak Chia, Junfeng Li, Robert Peng, Lee Holden, Michael Winn, Lonny Jarrett, Solala Towler, Mark Setton, Jianye Jiang, Shifu Hwang, Karin Sorvik. With its intensive focus on mindfulness and the awareness of the present, Qi Gong is known to help in the recovery of physical illnesses, such as various forms of cancer, and mental illnesses, such as depression and anxiety. As a form of meditative breath-work and movement, it has been shown to transform brain plasticity, reduce stress, regulate the nervous system, and develop enhanced feelings of wellbeing. The techniques of Qi Gong taught in this symposium can be formed into not only a highly curative practice but also a preventative practice. Through these techniques, a spiritual practice of awakening can arise and fill our mind and bodies with an ultimately healing effect. Join us as we delve deeply into the Wisdom of the Ancient Healing Traditions of the East and transform it to fit into our modern, daily lives.
